About:
Examination section is functioning in a separate building 'परीक्षा भवन'. The Controller of Examinations is the team leader with three examination cells, computer section and stores.

There are ten regional centres each at Amravati , Aurangabad, Kalyan, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Nanded, Nagpur, Nashik, Pune and Goa headed by Regional Director. The examination work in the respective region is controlled by regional centre.
The Examination Section is administrative wing – in planning the examination schedule, identifying the examination centres, preparing the examination material and its dispatch to examination centre – conduct the examination – post examination work like pre-CAP, CAP and processing of result data to generate examination result – Appointment of various persons for examination work.
The Board of Examinations supervises and approves the various – examination related work and rules and process. It also monitors the process through the various reports it receives.

The various functions of Examination Sections are as follows:

PRE-Examination

·         Development and approval of examination rules and regulations.

·         Identification of Examination Centers.

·         Planning the Schedule of work and estimation of various requirements.

·         Announcement of Examination times table and issue of Examination Forms to repeater students.

·         Dispatch of examination material – Q. Papers, Answer books, Attendance list, etc.

·         Approval of Expenditure of Examination Works by the appropriate authorities.

·         Checking of filled Examination Forms – collections and data entry.

Conduct

·         Approval and Appointment of staff at examination centres

·         Conduct of Examination

·         Proper checking and then sealing of Examination material.

·         Settlement of bills for examination work.

·         Dispatch /Collection of Examination material.

·         Appointment of flaying squad to check malpractices during the Examination.

Post Examination

·         Settlement of bills for examination work with finance.

·         Pre CAP Work – examination material checking and recording discrepancies if any.

·         Arranging the CAP –Planning and resources arrangements.

·         CAP –Assessment of students work.

·         Processing of the Marks and then result processing.

·         Gracing and condo nation of students before results.

·         Checking and printing the results.

·         Dispatching the results to Study centre /Students.

·         Declaration of result and result on Internet.

·         Finalizing unfair mean cases in – meetings

·         Migration certificates issue to students/other institute

·          Stastical data processing and feedback.
